Ridgeback Solar is a professional engineering services company founded in December of 2022 by Ryan Mallgrave, PE. Our focus is commercial and residential rooftop photovoltaic professional design, and we are looking to expand into agrivoltaics, community solar, utility scale, and full photovoltaic project development services.

Ryan is a licensed professional engineer with over seven years of professional design experience in the electrical distribution and design sector. Ryan has focused his professional practice in the renewable energy and photovoltaic sector since 2021, with previous experience with MEP design and architectural design companies. Ryan is currently licensed to provide engineering services in New Jersey, New York, Illinois, and Texas.

Renewable energy is more than just a professional interested for Ryan. The advancement and deployment of renewable energy technology is a personal passion as well, as environmental protection and the advancement of clean energy and energy efficiency is at the core of his professional practice.

Ryan has a Bachelor of Science from Drexel University (2015) and is currently located in Philadelphia, PA.
